Memorial Day – 2014
Well, here it is, another Memorial Day. And it is a great day. We remember those who have served our country in the armed services in the past and presently serving. And we especially honor those who gave the supreme sacrifice. And our esteemed egotistical child president did make a surprise visit to the troops still in Afghanistan. I commend him for that. He rarely gets any praise from me. Anyway, the trip was not without incident. His staff provided list of officials involved with this visit to the reporters included on this trip. Included in this list was the name of the CIA chief of station (top CIA man in the country), thus blowing his cover and jeopardizing his and his family’s safety. Mr. President just can’t seem to get anything right. Don’t try to say I dislike him because he is black. He could be pink for all I care. It’s his failures and efforts to destroy this nation that make me mad.
But this is a sad day for other reasons than grieving for our fallen. Our government and our many of our people have just gone to hell on earth. Not only is our president and his cronies trying to destroy this nation, the legislative branch has gone to hell too. I’m holding off my judgment on the judicial branch, but I have bad vibes about them, also. If one was to really try, he could find grounds to charge most of those in the legislature with treason. This goes for damned near all of the executive branch. They are letting the devil buy their souls with money and/or power and this is crippling this once great country. And if one looked hard enough, he could find the evidence.
Another sad aspect of this Memorial Day is alluded to in the previous paragraph. How many of our young people today even know what the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of our government are. I’ll tell you – way too few. And yet they vote to help elect our leaders.
I suppose by now you must think I have a pretty big chip on my shoulder. Kind of, I do. I hate seeing what is going on in my land. And I want every one of you to feel the same way. ‘Nuff said. Hope you had a happy Memorial day.
